The Product function within the WealthTech Business is responsible for setting the technology and operations model and delivering cutting-edge technology solutions that support the WealthTech business strategy.

About the Role

We are currently expanding and looking for an exceptional and motivated Digital Wealth Product Manager to work on executing the abrdn WealthTech Digital Wealth strategy, creating a B2B2C Digital Wealth platform solution and service (iHub).

As a Product Manager, you will align strategic goals with decisions involving the development and delivery of iHub. It will be necessary to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to effectively design solutions. You will enjoy collaborating on business motivations, operations, IT and security policies, compliance, legal and other related functions. You will be required to create a replicable approach, consistent framework, and techniques to scale iHub across segments and markets in Asia.

You will be part of a team that is constantly tackling difficult questions of scale, user experience and architecture. Your contribution to a dynamic team will allow you to be exposed to a variety of concepts and technologies. You will be challenged and required to grow as an individual.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal, partner, and client stakeholders to communicate the abrdn WealthTech product and proposition strategy (iHub)
- Create and manage the product roadmap for iHub in collaboration with the Digital Wealth Platform Director and work with vendors to communicate and plan the delivery of the product roadmap
- Ensure the product roadmap aligns to the WealthTech business strategy and objections and call out where there is misalignment
- Remain current on industry standards especially the wealth management technology domain in order to deliver market leading solution for iHub
- Represent the key users of iHub and design journeys and experiences that are highly engaging for multiple user groups
- Be responsible for the design and delivery of the complete solution covering all technology and non-technology aspects including operational processes for iHub
- To understand the challenges and complexities that exists within each stream of the programme, and be able to integrate these activities into a programme of delivery
- Support the Programme Manager in understanding the risks, dependencies and issues that exist in relation to the product and the associated impact
- Understand what the programme will deliver from a business and benefits perspective and advise on areas where this in not aligned with the evolving solution
- Plan and coordinate product releases, ensuring timely delivery of features and improvements
- Provide pre-sales support, demo management and documentation for business development purposes in collaboration with the Digital Wealth Platform Director.
- Self-starter: believes in taking ownership of initiatives with limited oversight, continuously innovating to achieve great results
- Demonstrated ability to engage business and technology stakeholders in a facilitated dialogue to create effective partnerships
- Proficient in explaining complex solutions in common language
- Strong understanding of the needs of a Financial Adviser, Wealth Manager, Wealth Operations user, and other parties in the value chain to deliver legendary client and other user experiences
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, especially Agile/Scrum.
- Understanding of investment order management, dealing and custody processes and market counterparty integrations
- Bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, or related field.
