PURPOSE
KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES
- Understand business processes and business requirements and identify opportunities for process automation and optimisation.
- Analyse existing manual QA tasks to recommend automation solution to increase productivity and improve accuracy.
- Design, develop, implement and maintain test automation framework using Selenium.
- Develop automated test scripts using Python or other tools.
- Execute both automated and manual testing and provide detailed analysis of results.
- Liaise with development teams on the defects and coordinate the delivery of the defects.
- Liaise with business teams, walkthrough UAT test plans and provide regular update on the overall testing, defects and the delivery status.
- Support business users during the testing phase by providing training on new features and functions delivered from the project or change request.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Tertiary qualification, preferred.
- Diploma/Higher diploma
- Fresh graduates will also be considered.
- 1 -3 years of experience in the Life Insurance Domain preferred.
- Preferred ISTQB certifications and any other certification on automation testing.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross functional teams.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Should have an aptitude for testing with an eye for detail.
- Working knowledge of SQL and API’s.
- Working knowledge of Life/Asia preferred.
- Some knowledge of test tools like Selenium or Jenkins.
