Purpose

Leading the development team to work with platform owner and business stake holders in delivering regional FWD websites & customer portal.

Work closely with UX teams, QA, DevOps and platform owner team in delivering projects which that drive best of class user experience.

Separately, the role is required to liaise with group digital marketing team in implementing and fine-tuning of page performance, SEO, GTM, Google Analytics when necessary.

Key accountabilities
- Provide technical leadership and churning out sound technical solution to address changes request need with firm understand of business requirement
- Responsible for designing the roadmap, explain the current strategies in terms of opportunities and threats analysis to the stakeholders of internal & external parties for synergy.
- Translate corporate strategy into functional strategy of Website & eCommerce, develop options that achieve both short and long term objectives wherever possible, monitor results and make corresponding adjustments ensuring results are in track
- Hands-on technical implementation (coding) and concurrently overseeing development team across different offices and geographies to ensure quality deliverables
- Appreciate business requirement and implementing changes according to project technical design and coding standard to ensure high quality of deliverables
- Strong attention to details and great understanding in UX
- Responsible to source code management, source code scanning and penetration vulnerability resolution.
- To manage code management activities (including code branching, merging and commit) by following the established standard defined by team lead.
- Identify opportunities for research and development for continuous improvement.
- Maintain good quality of codes that comply to coding and security standard
- Be proactive to constantly highlight gaps and seek out opportunities to optimize processes
- Manage across-regional project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
- Deliver solutions that will be used across multiple platforms and languages

Qualifications / experience
- Preferably a bachelor's degree in IT related discipline.
- Strong technical full stack technology knowledge with proven track records (More than 6 years of hands-on technical experience)
- Experienced in leading medium to large (4-10 people) project team in which involves end to end delivery
- Experienced in detailed system design, database design, and architecture.

Knowledge & technical skills
- Solid hands-on technical skill with capability to trouble shooting and drill down into detail.
- At least 6 years hands on technical skillsets:

- Must Have:

- Modern Javascript framework i.e. ReactJs, NextJS (SSR and SSG)
- Typescript
- NodeJs framework i.e. NestJs
- Cloud experience in AWS technologies.
- Kubernetes
- Good To Have:

- Headless CMS
- Storybook design system
- graphQL
- mongoDB
- docker and cloud-based infrastructure setup
- TDD
- Good knowledge of system design and documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage and manage various stakeholders
- Meticulous, committed.
- Able to work under extreme pressure and tight timeline
- Solid experience in project delivery ( mínimally 3 medium to large scale projects )
- Good experience in level 2 and 3 production support
- Adequate security knowledge in cyber security aspect such as source code and penetration test scanning vulnerability resolution
- Good experience in agile methodologies - scrum
- Well-versed in Cloud technologies (AWS & Azure).
