**Key Responsibilities**
This is a critical role within SATS Food Solutions to assist key Business Units in optimizing their inventory to minimize inventory costs while maximizing in stock availability thereby maximizing revenue. The role needs to work with key stakeholders in in defining, implementing, and then operating the Inventory Optimization process within targeted SATS Food Solutions business units as part of the Digital Integrated Supply Chain team.

Your secondary role is charged with supporting the Network Supply Planning function to forecast and plan network requirements between SATS Business Units. Additionally, this role is charged with various ad-hoc analysis and issue identification and resolution across the end-to-end SATS Food Solutions Supply Chain.

This is a key role to assist and drive improvements within the key SATS Food Solutions Business Units as well as assist in the management of the demand and supply aspect of our ever-expanding global business. It is a unique chance to be part of the build and then operate a key planning and analytics function within SATS Food Solutions globally.
- Calculation of inventory parameters, item/inventory segmentation and the ongoing calculation of optimal statistical safety stock for various scenarios and options.
- Analysing the tradeoff between MOQ, lead-time, total cost and expiry at the SKU level to highlight issues and then working cross-functionally to reach the best solution for SATSCAT.
- Ensuring inventory is planned optimally across SATSCAT, from analysing the best location(s) to stock inventory to then rebalancing inventory across sites as needed.
- Provide inventory input into the various necessary S&OP/IBP process and meetings.
- Assist to define and in some cases develop the necessary dashboard/KPI metrics to support the inventory optimization and network planning functions.
- Assist each Business Unit in identifying and reporting any projected overstocks and potential obsolescence.
- Compile and report monthly Key Performance Indicators for IBP including Demand, Inventory, Production and Supply Planning.
- Support the S&OE and S&OP meetings with cross-functional reporting, root cause analysis and resolution.
- Collaborate with BU to identify master data and transactional data discrepancies and errors and raise for solving with relevant parties.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analytics for various Supply Chain Planning and Visibility topics to provide insights and assist in identifying and solving issues being faced.
- Support the BU IBP team with their questions on how to prepare and analyze data correctly and support and guide them through their own analysis.

**Key Requirements**
- Minimum 7 to 8 years of relevant experience, inclusive of minimum 2 years of process improvement and data analysis for insights
- Experience in data analytics within a supply chain function is highly valued
- Prior experience with working in SAP S/4 and Supply Chain Planning and Optimization systems
- Strong analytical and modeling skills with extensive data analysis (Excel / Access or more advanced tools)
- Power BI or other similar tools dashboard development experience
- Experience in supply chain planning tools/ software in a food catering/ food & beverage or similar industry is a plus
- Strength in statistical modelling and data analysis methods are of advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills grounded in continuous quality improvement required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective customer and internal business partner relationships, with proven ability to influence decisions and collaborate effectively across the organization required.
