Summary

The Director, Distribution Strategy ASPAC will lead and partner on the execution of the distribution strategy across the distribution landscape, including B2B and B2B channels that are operating across multiple segments. The Director will lead the new distribution initiatives, including product, channels, and performance optimization. This individual should have in-depth experience in distribution account management, project management, analytics, and revenue management, and deliver on execution, innovation, and optimization.
- Negotiate and implement distribution terms and conditions that drive incremental value for properties and overall organization
- Effectively manage relationships with online customers (OTA, Wholesale or other), ensuring alignment with the Global distribution strategy
- Identify and implement tools and training which assist hotels in determining best in class channel mix to drive profitability and market share
- Work with regional revenue management and distribution teams to understand the dynamics of third-party distribution business and the contributing factors
- Assist with new openings to ensure sound distribution principles are implemented from the start
- Ensure centrally agreed FIT/OTA/TMC/Partnership agreements meet the strategic and commercial goals of the department and company
- Conduct hotel level training and assist in high level presentations about the organization including updates on the latest hotel openings, innovations, offers and overall direction of the company for distribution partners.
- Support key company objectives that align with distribution strategy, including rate parity and compliance programs

**Qualifications**:
Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Distribution, Revenue Management, or 3rd party account management, preferably within the hospitality or travel sector
- High degree of personal and professional savvy and experience which instills confidence among all internal and external audiences
- Good corporate role model, proactive, fair and approachable
- Excellent communication skills, equally comfortable in various cultures within the region, able to develop close communications and relationships with all ASPAC properties
- Comprehensive knowledge of Hyatt corporate strategy, policies and procedures, standards of operation, philosophies, initiatives, systems, business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements
- Translates business needs into what needs to get done; ensures that all work is completed effectively; monitors the progress of work against schedules; maintains high performance standard; works effectively by using a highly collaborative style; ability to work unsupervised
- Proven experience in strategy activation and project management

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, economics, hospitality management, or analytics

Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job
- Superior Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) skills required
- Knowledge of PMS, RMS, and CRS systems a plus

Additional Comments and Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
