**Job Purpose**

The Assistant Manager/ Senior Assistant Manager will be responsible for patient service administration, clinical administration support, staff management and communica_tio_n.

**Primary Responsibilities and Duties**

**Patient Service Administration**

1. The Assistant Manager/ Senior Assistant Manager will manage patient related matters including patient compliments and feedback.

2. Work with other department managers to ensure a positive experience for patients along the continuum of care.

3. Responsible for managing the daily patient attendances.

4. Responsible for managing patient dental records.

**Customer Service**

2. He/ She is responsible devising innovative services to continually improve service levels and delight customers.

**Staff Management**

2. He/ She is responsible for ensuring that patient service associates receive appropriate induction, orientation and training so that they possess appropriate skills and knowledge to carry out their jobs.

3. He/ She in partnership with Clinic Manager is responsible for staff recruitment and retention to achieve a stable, skilled and motivated workforce and achieve the desired cutomer and business outcomes.

**Communication**

1. Responsible for two-way communication between staff and management. He/ She should ensure timely dissemination of information, escalation of issues and recommending solutions to problems.

2. Participate in committees and other tasks as and when assigned.

**Secondary Responsibilities and Duties**
- Give guidance to junior staff.
- Disseminate and implement hospital’s policy & procedure.
- Ensure Policy & Procedures are current.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor

**Personal responsibilities**

**Job Requirements**

Skills and Knowledge

1. Have practical knowledge of hospital operations.

2. Be computer literate in Microsoft Word / Excel

3. At least two years’ working experience

Personal Traits

1. Positive, motivated, able to manage pressure, takes initiative.

2. Is service oriented and customer focused. ( CARE Standards )

1. Basic degree (minimum)
