Senior Merchandiser

5 days working, 9am-6pm

Working Location: Ubi
- Responsible for pre-season merchandise financial plans, category, and assortment analytics, flow planning, in-season financial forecasts, and promotional/markdown activity.
- Ensuring strong collaboration and alignment between pre-season plans and in-season actions.
- Driving business objectives, metrics and maximize sales and inventory management
- Analysing weekly sales achievement and support the team in strategy development to improve the business
- Supporting the Key Accounts in developing the top-down merchandise financial plan.
- Developing the bottom-up merchandise financial plan and store spread for a product category(s).
- Completing assortment analytics as inputs to developing seasonal category strategies and assortment plans designed by Merchandising Manager.
- Developing the seasonal product flow plan with support from Merchandisers.
- Identifying the in-season open to buy actions required to meet plans, setting, and facilitating pre-forecasting meetings, etc.
- Recommending and reviewing markdown and promotion opportunities.
- Achieving the key performance metrics for a product category(s).
- Consistently monitoring the business through analytics and identifying actions to achieve the key performance metrics.
- Understanding the key connectivity and interactions required for all business process steps.
- Work closely with Franchisee/Wholesale counterparts in Merchandise Planning in managing their franchisee/ mono and multi-brand and stores.
- Plan merchandise list based on approved floor plan, give recommendation about the products to be display in store by Division/SKU and key launch.
- Providing the wholesale/distribution teams with seasonal retail merchandise planning information.
- Participate in-store visits (internal) and competitor market visits (external) to understand retail trends and consumer needs.
- As requested, support other functions and associates in developing process knowledge and skills through coaching and job assistance.
- Participating in buy meetings.
- Conducting End-of-Season Hind-sighting.
- Sharing consumer and industry trends and insights.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/ Degree in Business/ Retail Management
- At least 3 - 5 years or above of relevant experience in retail and wholesale industry
- Proactive with strong analytical skills and attention-to-detail
- Excellent working knowledge in MS Excel and PowerPoint, proficiency in Power BI is a benefit.
- Ability to analyse and interpret a high amount of data and identify the implications and required actions
- Advanced skills in numerical and quantitative analysis, and ability to identify trend
- Ability to turn data and analytics into information to inform and influence decision-making
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to identify actions and make decisions to resolve issues with a sense of urgency
- Strong organization and planning skills; ability to deliver results to a process and timeline
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
