Senior Merchandiser

As a Senior Merchandiser at Jewelbox, a "Conscious Luxury" brand specializing in fine jewelry made from lab-grown diamonds, you will be responsible for leading our merchandising team in the lab-grown diamond jewellery segment. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a strong background in product development, trend analysis, and supply chain management. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in jewellery merchandising, demonstrating expertise in team leadership, vendor management, and driving sales through effective product planning and execution.Your key responsibilities will include planning and developing jewellery collections in alignment with market trends, consumer preferences, and brand positioning. You will optimize product assortment, pricing, and stock levels to maximize sales and profitability. It is essential to stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and consumer demand to drive innovative and market-relevant collections. Collaborating with suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of jewellery pieces will be a crucial part of your role. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a team of merchandisers, designers, and sourcing specialists to enhance productivity and creativity.Monitoring sales data, identifying high-performing products, and implementing strategies to enhance category performance will be part of your routine tasks. You will work closely with marketing, design, and retail teams to ensure successful product launches and promotional campaigns.To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in jewellery merchandising, preferably in lab-grown diamonds or fine jewellery. Proven leadership skills in managing and guiding teams towards achieving business goals are essential. A strong understanding of jewellery design, materials, and consumer preferences in the lab-grown diamond sector is required. Proficiency in sales forecasting, data analysis, and inventory planning is crucial. You should possess the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams and external partners.
