Manager, System Administration

**Job Purpose**

**Responsibilities**
- 1) Administer and maintain our company O&M systems, including SAP and IBM Maximo:

- Understand users’ needs and work processes to map business requirements to systems capabilities and implementations.
- Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system enhancements and upgrades.
- Participate in testing, system upgrades, and patches.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Provide system training to new users and support rollout of new functionalities.
- Conduct user acceptance tests and annual user access review for Applications.
- Maintain system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Manage system security and access controls.
- 2) Develop and administer change control process for MMS Applications, new requests and changes:

- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure system integrations are functioning correctly.
- Assist Business Units’ Data Owners to verify data setting for consistency and compliance to established business processes.
- Verify and implement the approved changes.
- Recommend process and/or system improvements.
- 3) Provide support on related projects or interfaces:

- Review user requirements, functional specifications, interface documents etc.
- Support testing, development, pre-prod, training and production.
- 4) Maintain system reports, run queries and create ad hoc reports for audits, internal management and LTA.

**Qualifications & Work Experience**
- BSc degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT administration, preferably with SAP and IBM Maximo

**Skills**
- Technical skills include:

- Working knowledge of enterprise asset and work management processes
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in administering and supporting SAP and IBM Maximo system
- Experience in troubleshooting system issues and providing technical support to end-users
- Knowledge of IT policies and procedures
- Certification in SAP or IBM Maximo is a plus
- Generic skills include:

- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Facilitation / planning skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
