**Responsibilities**:

- Perform analysis, interpretation and quantification of test samples (flavours, fragrances and raw materials) via GC/MS.
- Preparation of samples for analysis
- Review chromatographic and QA/QC data ensuring it meets established criteria
- Method development and validation of GCMS methods
- Interpretation of quantitative and qualitative mass spectrometric data
- To provide an analysis report for the Flavour / Fragrance being made in the lab
- To create and keep updated on new fragrance ingredients/components within the market and to add these to the library accordingly
- Ability to communicate with the flavourist, perfumer, QA Officer and other personnel.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on GC/MS.
- Maintained laboratory documentation related to analysis and training.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum Degree, BA/BS in Chemistry or related science degrees or equivalent.
- Experience working within the Flavours and Fragrance industry - essential;
- Proven industry experience as a GCMS Analyst for a sufficient period of time - essential;
- Knowledgeable in using Mass Hunter software, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience in conducting GCMS.
- Excellent attention to detail and be able to prioritise work to specified deadlines;
- Literate in English
- Good communication skills
