Our Client, Automotive industry, has an opportunity for a dynamic individual to join the team as an **Group Accountant.
**Responsibilities**:
- Taking a lead role in guiding finance staff in the Group to ensure compliance of accounting, tax, legal and corporate matters
- Managing the corporate month end accounting process
- Preparation of the monthly management reports
- Preparation of the Group consolidated financial statements
- Preparation of the SGX financial statements and commentary (if applicable)
- Consolidation of the Group budget for the management reporting pack
- Preparation of the Board reporting pack
- Managing the monthly variance analysis and providing commentary on the financial performance
- Liaising with external and Auditors
- Preparation and lodgement of monthly corporate taxes including social benefit taxes, Income tax and quarterly central bank reporting
- Supporting various Group initiatives including new technologies to enhance and improve reporting for purposes of delivering effective and efficient decision making
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by Management.
**Job Requirements**:
- Business or Accounting Diploma/ Degree
- Minimum 3 - 7 years of relevant working experience with knowledge of preparing full set of accounts
- Highly motivated self-starter.
- Possess excellent planning, analytical and organization skills.
- Dedicated, committed, a good team player with strong leadership qualities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
**OTHER INFORMATION**:
- Location: West
- 5 days work week
