Tracing its roots back to 1983, Sir Stamford Raffles Group is a Singapore-headquartered boutique property developer with a singular goal of creating and unlocking exceptional value from opportunity-rich frontier markets of Southeast Asia.

Developing a large integrated residential, commercial, education and healthcare development in Phnom Penh, Cambodia; the Group is building out its corporate HQ in Singapore and in-theatre in Cambodia.

**GROUP ACCOUNTANT**

Reporting directly to the Deputy CFO, the Appointee shall provide support in all aspects of accounting, corporate finance and project operations at the Group and its subsidiaries.

This includes overall financial strategic planning, management and reporting; budgetary and cashflow forecasting & control; taxation; auditing & internal controls, corporate governance & risk management as well as corporate finance initiatives (funding).

**Responsibilities**:

- Primary contact person for all operational, regional finance & general management (including monthly VAT and Withholding Tax).
- Preparation of monthly VAT and Withholding Tax; and quarterly GST return filing.
- Processing of electronic payments to vendors.
- Project and group cashflow management.
- Validate and update project progress/cost claim.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and accounting requirements (local and overseas).
- Liaison with debtors, creditors, banks, tax agents and auditors.
- Manage annual statutory audits.
- Manage tax and statistic queries.
- Manage the ERP system implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounting software.
- Preparation of monthly full set of accounts.
- Preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements.
- Provide support in Project Accounting (including project costing & review, budget update and cost analysis, financial modelling, etc.)
- Perform ad-hoc duties, analysis, reports and corporate general management (including overseas travel for internal audit), as and when required.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accountancy or other related professional qualification (e.g., ACCA).
- Chartered Accountant is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of audit experience with international audit firm.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in preparation of full set of accounts, consolidation, VAT/GST and tax.
- ERP experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central accounting software.
- Advance knowledge in Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of SFRS/IFRS.
- Positive, proactive with good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in financial modelling (including NPV, DCF).
- Team player who is organized and independent with learner/growth mindset.
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
