**Role Overview**:
We're seeking an experienced Platform Development Lead to spearhead the creation of our luxury product marketplace. This pivotal role will drive the platform's development from concept to launch, coordinating across technical, design, and business functions to deliver a world-class user experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the end-to-end development of our luxury marketplace platform, including search and discovery, listing management, transaction systems, and trust and safety features
- Develop comprehensive technical requirements and product roadmaps based on business objectives
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize features and establish development timelines
- Direct implementation of core platform components, including user authentication, payment infrastructure, and communication tools
- Oversee integration of product database, market intelligence features, and internationalization capabilities
- Ensure platform security, data protection, and compliance with regional regulations
- Lead quality assurance processes to maintain platform stability and performance
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience leading development of e-commerce or marketplace platforms
- Strong understanding of platform economics and trust & safety mechanisms
- Experience with payment systems, escrow services, and multi-currency transactions
- Knowledge of authentication processes, KYC systems, and fraud prevention
- Familiarity with international e-commerce regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
- Strong project management capabilities and attention to detail
- Experience with mobile platform development and responsive design

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in luxury goods or collectibles industry
- Background in developing platforms with authentication or appraisal components
- Knowledge of AR/VR technologies for virtual product experiences
- Understanding of data analytics and business intelligence tools
- Experience with multi-language platform development
- Technical architecture expertise with demonstrated ability to design scalable systems
- Experience with modern tech stacks for marketplace platforms
- Understanding of database design for complex product catalogs
