Our client is looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to help support its growth by coordinating the creation, review and implementation of policies and procedures, established by the agencies that regulate the company.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing the compliance function in Singapore to support growth. Familiar with the operation mode of cross-border payment and cross-border e-commerce multi-currency system.

Your charter has several components:

- You'll work with Asia's Compliance Director and senior leaders to develop corporate governance guidelines and uplift the compliance framework.
- You'll lead HK / SG compliance objectives by leading, communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures to direct reports, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Protects assets by tracking applicable laws and regulations that affect financial reporting and anticipating emerging compliance trends & updated regulator guidance.
- Minimizes legal risks by understanding current and proposed legislation, enforcing regulations, recommending new procedures, and complying with legal requirements.
- You'll lead compliance training & uplift knowledge and awareness across the group to drive proactive compliance strategies.
- Enhances compliance and organization reputation by bringing compliance recognition to the company and providing leadership by creating a 'proactive' compliance culture.
- Knowledge of domestic and foreign banks and payments. Institutional foreign exchange and cash management product system.

Skills & Experience
- Qualifications in Compliance, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
- At least 5 years in an all-rounded compliance function in financial services, including payments, banking, insurance, and asset management industries
- High level of self-motivation and initiative.
- Strong ability to solve complex issues and work with a range of colleagues from different nationalities.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent English is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communicational skills with both verbal and written English.
- Additional Languages are favoured, including Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa, and Hindi (advantageous but not essential).
- Working Visa required for Singapore / Hong Kong (Non-Sponsored).
