An international asset management firm, is looking to hire a Compliance and Risk manager to be based in Singapore. This person will be a sole contributor and be the key contact regarding any compliance matters as well as monitoring the risk positions.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Overall compliance/regulatory oversight of the fund management company and the funds managed by the FMC.
- Oversee and execute compliance activities for the firm:
a) Regulatory license requirements and obligations relating to Singapore

b) Compliance filings

c) Market trading compliance

d) MNPI monitoring

e) Investors KYC/AML

f) Communication surveillance

g) Compliance training

h) Communication with regulators

i) Other relevant compliance areas
- Manage implementation and monitoring of firm's compliance policies and framework.
- Maintain and update firm's compliance policies and framework.
- Monitor and understand new regulatory developments of relevant jurisdictions, and disseminate knowledge and information to the FMC
- Manage ad-hoc compliance projects.

**Key requirements**:

- 3 to 6 years experience in compliance role, preferably from fund management, compliance advisory, compliance consulting, accountancy firm or law firm.
- Degree in Accounting, Law, Finance or equivalent discipline.
- Preferably experienced in providing compliance support in multi-jurisdictional environment.
- Self-starter, independent and comfortable operating in a small team environment.
- Multi-tasker, organized and able to handle work pressure.
- Team player, committed and strong communication skills.
