Capacity Planning Engineer:
You will be using existing capacity models to translating factory production capabilities into business execution plans. Capacity planning will be focusing on two key areas: (a) Long term planning by understanding high level scenario inputs and producing outputs to be considered for execution (b) Short term analysis of factory loading needs.

Will also be responsible for all aspects of capacity and factory modeling: (a) Maintaining factory level modeling capabilities for use by the Capacity Planning engineer, (b) Use deterministic capacity models for real time analysis of factory dynamics.

Your Job
- Responsible for factory capacity planning. Complete capacity scenario analysis to identify performance requirements and/or future capital needs.
- Establish capacity expansion plans for optimum cost/benefit for the factory. Establish and maintain capital equipment plans - control and monitor capital equipment budget.
- Work with Layout planning team to understand space requirements for capital equipment purchases.
- Prepare constraint analysis reports and capacity trade-off analysis for short-term factory loading needs.
- Liaison with factory production planning and factory management on short-term factory loading commitments.
- Accountable for accuracy of factory level capacity planning model.
- Interface with Module Industrial Engineering for tool level inputs needed to produce a full factory capacity output.
- Responsible for continuous improvements in capacity modeling capabilities as well as related global capacity reporting system. Liaison with corporate IE, other sites IE and systems group for modeling system changes.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor or Masters in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Science discipline, Other Engineering discipline will also be considered.
- Fluency in English Language - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Physical Capacity Demands

Preferred Qualifications:

- Proficiency in understanding information systems and data management techniques.
- Proven track record in program management and successful project execution.
- High proficiency in MS-Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project)
- Proficiency in data management, Visual Basic, Java, C++, SQL etc will be advantageous
- Good communication skills and leadership qualities are essential.
- Able to work within a team structure and across organizational boundaries.
- Able to communicate effectively with multiple engineering disciplines within Semiconductor Manufacturing
- Strong analytical skills with willingness to coach junior staff.
