Piping Material Control Lead

Accountable for the coordination of various sections to prepare the necessary documents which includes, but not limited to, construction methods of statement, work procedures, engineering clarification, material expediting, to ensure all piping works are completed smoothly and within timeline
- Support lead engineer for work procedure submission through studying and understanding of project requirement and specifications
- Expedite materials to ensure timely delivery
- Control material issuance for fabrication, installation and to sub-contractors
- Take charge of FIM and delivery status
- Coordinate with stakeholders for materials status and requirements, and to expedite accordingly
- Highlight piping engineering issues to client and follow up on resolution
- Monitor and follow up with client’s site instructions (SI)
- Assist in improving the system of production control, standard operating procedure, quality control, safety and training and development within the piping section

**Job Requirements**:

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in marine/shipyard operations involving site piping fabrication and supervision works
- Good planning, organization, control, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
