MAIN TASKS:

- Day to day chartering, marketing and employment of vessels within the geographic area
- In co-operation with a team of experienced Charterers and in conjunction with General Manager, propose market strategy and business development plan.
- Stay fully updated on market and competitors’ activities, trends, fixtures and CoAs within the geographic area
- Drive and implement effective cross selling strategies including business development to maximise revenue opportunities
- Communicate and cooperate with Ship Operators and Ship Management in relation to vessels operation. In addition, work closely with other Odfjell offices globally
- Attend to QHSE matters in compliance with the company’s policy, raise non-conformity and assessing risk in order to strive for continuous improvement
- Any other duties assigned

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor Degree preferably in Maritime related qualification or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, preferably in chemical tankers’ market or similar
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment where needs and expectations from the business require a flexible and adaptive working style
- Commercial mindset with good business acumen
- Team-player with positive attitude and solution oriented
- Good time management, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to make pragmatic priorities and to take intuitive decisions
- Willingness and ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
- Some traveling is expected
