The client is a well-known leader (manufacturing industry / Oil & Gas / Chemicals Gas) with a presence around the globe in more than 10 locations.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Manager with a specialized focus on delivering Group HR shared services and ensuring HR operational excellence. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and driving HR projects / initiatives across HR pillar to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and elevate the overall employee experience.
Reporting to the Group Head of HR, you will be responsible for overseeing the Group HR Shared Services which includes design and successful delivery of HR operational processes for the Group and lead the progression of the function which includes broadening of the scope of services provided and streamlining of workflow through use of automation and technology.
You will own the implementation of HR projects / initiatives, with the primary focus to deliver world-class HR Shared Services for the Group.
As a secondary role as the HR Business Partner for HQ, you will also serve as a strategic partner to the Group Head of HR and senior stakeholders in HQ in developing and executing HR strategies and policies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. This dual role as a Senior HR Manager and HR Business Partner (HRBP) is an opportunity for a seasoned professional to have a significant impact on our Group’s HR function.
**Group HRM (Shared Services) up to $9000 cap**
1. Group HR Shared Services (HRSS) / Center of Excellence (COE)
- Design and lead Group HR shared service to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of HR services across the Group.
- Define strategic and operational direction of Group HRSS, including defining the operational model of Country HRSS, process design and improvement, applicable technology, budgets, and vendor selection; strong focus on optimizing HR processes to enhance efficiency and drive operational excellence.
- In-charge of managing the HR shared services budget for the Group, including vendor selection and cost control.
- Proactively identify potential challenges and implement effective change management strategies.
- Lead initiatives to drive a positive cultural shift in alignment with HR shared services.
- Develop and maintain SLAs and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of shared services such as improving HR service delivery response times, reducing HR-related compliance issues and Employee Net Promoter Score (or eNPS).
- Lead a team of HR professionals within the shared services function, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
- Participate in Group HR activities including annual performance review cycle, budgeting exercise etc.
2. HR Projects & Initiatives
- Drive the implementation of HR projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in line with the organization's objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, propose solutions, and execute change management plans to achieve desired outcomes.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively address issues that may impact project success.
3. HR Business Partnering
- Collaborate with the Group Head of HR to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's business goals which may include organization design, talent management and development.
- Provide strategic HR support to business leaders and managers, offering guidance on workforce planning, talent development, and performance management.
- Act as a conduit between the HR shared services team and other HR functions to ensure seamless integration and communication.
4. Data and Analytics:
- Utilize HR analytics to gather insights into HR shared services performance, enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present reports to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement within the shared services function.
- Implement best practices in data management and reporting.
5. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure that all Group and Country HR processes, policies, and procedures are in compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Proactively identify potential risks in HR operations and take measures to mitigate them.
- Lead internal and external HR audits as necessary.
HR Operations for HQ (Singapore)
- Lead the HR Shared Services for Singapore (~50 headcount) to deliver an accurate and timely service to employees in HQ, including payroll management, benefits administration, providing advice and follow up on company policies, procedures and administration.
