**1.**Pre Sale Engineering Support**
- Technical Support and Consultation.
- Provide pre sales technical consultation to customers, understand their needs and advising on suitable Yanmar products option.
- Offer detailed product knowledge including specification, performance parameters, and features.
- Analyse customer requirements such as vessel type, operational conditions, and fuel types and recommend tailored Yanmar products. Customization on Engines & customization of control systems & stern arrangement.
- Prepare technical documentation, product presentations and proposals for potential customers, highlighting the benefits and competitive advantages of the products.
- Regulatory Compliance on Emissions and Environmental standards, Classification Societies & flag state requirements.
- Testing and Validation on functions under various operational conditions in load testing, endurance testing and fuel consumption analysis.
- Cost estimation and Financial Planning in life-cycle costing
- Technical documentation in engine manual such as installation, commissioning and regular maintenance
- Client Communication, cross functional Collaboration & negotiation Support.
- Sales Process Involvement by assessing whether the products or services are good fit for the client’s needs.
- Bid & Proposal Assistance on ensuring technical accuracy, cost estimation, timelines and product configurations.
- Market Research and Competitor Analysis.

**2.**After-Sales Support and Service**
- Service Network, spare parts availability & warranty terms.
- Customer Training
- Share insights and Industrial best practices with both the sales team and after sales service team to increase overall technical knowledge.
