The Product Sourcing Executive assists in product and market research and provide support for the planning of new product roadmap. He/she is also an effective bridge between the product team and other stakeholders with feedback on current and future products and is able to glean insights to help elevate the company's pipeine product offerings. The person also systematically organises product information from technical specifications, IP statuses, competitor information to enable indepth analysis and intelligent recommendations on product related matters. This role may be BU or region-specific, and may include supporting roles in IP management, global pricing management, and/or vendor management.

**Responsibilities**:
1) New Product Roadmapping
- Support roadmapping for new products by highlighting new lifestyle and technology trends, and providing necessary data and research findings.
- Analyse current product F&F and market feedback and identify gaps and next generation improvements.
- Source and identify potential new products for pipeline consideration for next generation or new product categories.
- Identify new product functionalities by experiencing the actual samples or via research or other means.

2) Support Project Planning and Implementation
- Support team manager in consolidating data and information to implement projects.

3) Intellectual Property Monitoring
- Monitors new product pipeline and compile recommendations for filing of new trademarks and patents.
- Documents and updates filing and renewal status for each IP, in collaboration with Legal team
- Processes and monitors IP expenses including technology patents for each product

4) Product Specifications and F&F Mapping
- Monitor and update product category specifications (technical, mechanical, digital etc)
- Support team manager in identifying gaps in specification alignment internally as well as across different vendors

**Job Requirements**
- General degree holder or Diploma holder preferably in business related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of related working experience in retail industry or consumer products sectors.
- Strong interest in creation of new products and acute awareness of market and technology trends.
- High awareness of well-being and wellness products, the eco-systems and related research and developments.
- Fluent in English and other language(s) that are required to communicate effectively with stakeholders and suppliers.
