**Job Description**:
**OVERVIEW**
The Marketing and Partnerships Manager, APAC manages the planning and execution of the APAC marketing strategy and plays a fundamental role in managing the comprehensive programme of partnerships that CNBC has across APAC. This individual manages the contracting, creative and relationship management for all APAC event and media partnerships, working with external partners and internal stakeholders to deliver meaningful results for all parties and showcase CNBC as the world’s leader in business and financial news. This role manages and tracks the APAC marketing budget and acts as the go-to person for all marketing activity within the region, liaising directly with key stakeholders across the business. This individual line-manages the Communications and Marketing Assistant, APAC.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Be the first point of call for the marketing and partnerships team in APAC
- Build and nurture strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage the day-to-day communication with all media and event partners, and act as a conduit for discussions with CNBC’s editorial and commercial teams
- Plan, manage and deliver brand activations at events and work with the CNBC editorial team to maximise the CNBC’s presence
- Drive the negotiation and contracting process for all partnerships and barter contracts, working directly with the CNBC legal team
- Brief and oversee the design and delivery of all creative assets relating to marketing activity. Work closely with CNBC’s graphics department to ensure creative executions adhere to brand guidelines and are delivered on time
- Oversee and ensure the timely delivery of post-campaign reports to stakeholders
- Manage and track the APAC Marketing budget working closely with the finance team to ensure rigorous attention to detail on all marketing costs
- Proactively seek out new promotional opportunities for the brand in key markets across the region
- Plan, create and execute all B2C marketing campaigns from brainstorming to creative execution
- Act as a brand guardian and support other CNBC departments, such as the commercial and distribution teams, to ensure impactful and consistent brand promotions are rolled out across the region
- Line -manage the Communications & Marketing Assistant, APAC and p rovide clear direction, support, coaching and mentoring to enable them to achieve their objectives
**Qualifications**:
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
- Significant experience in a marketing and partnership management essential
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work to short deadlines and work closely with senior stakeholders
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive approach
- A team player with the ability to motivate colleagues and work with different personalities
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent MS office skills, especially PowerPoint a plus
- Interest in and knowledge of news media is desirable
- Desire and ability to work within an international environment
- Willingness to travel a bonus
