Core Banking Project Manager

**Experience: 8-15 years experience
**RESPONSIBILITIES
**Project Manager**
- Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
- Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations.
- Communicate project details and schedules to the Business as required
- Maintains project documents repository in Sharepoint
- Use standard tools and templates for reporting and change requests.
- Manage Project Risk and Issues with appropriate mitigate plan.
- Conduct workgroup and steering committee meetings with stakeholders

**Business Analyst**

Deliver the appropriate documents & solutions required for projects, enhancement & Issues.
- Collection and review of user requirements
- Obtain sign-off of user requirements
- Prepare functional specifications
- Obtain sign-off for functional specifications
- Prepare test scenario
- Conduct users training
- Coordination of users acceptance testing.
- Obtain sign-off for users acceptance testing
- Provide effort estimation for enhancement request

**COMPETENCIES**
- Knowledge of different Core Banking service modules - Interest/ FX rates, Capital Market & Accounting.
- Knowledge in understanding of how different interest and FX rates are used in a bank for accounting, finance, and products.
- Excellent verbal and written English and ability to tailor communication to various audiences
- The ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems
- Ability to adapt to a new environment and to work under pressure towards tight deadlines;
- Ability to manage changing priorities;
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion;
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Demonstrated ability to work with and manage remote teams.
- Must be a team player; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet competing/changing deadlines
- Proficient in SQL, Unix is a must with COBOL as an added advantage;
- Experience/Certification with one or more project management methodologies (for example, PMI PMBOK, PRINCE2, and Agile) will be an added advantage

**QUALIFICATIONS
**Skills**:Project Manager and Business Analyst skills in Core Banking systems

**Experience range**:8-15 years of experience in Financial Services as a Project Manager / Analyst having managed or contributed significantly in projects interfacing with Core Banking.

**Technical**:SQL and Unix Technical IT knowledge
