We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with expertise in Core Banking to join our team. This role plays a pivotal part in connecting data engineering teams with banking operations, driving data-informed decision-making and supporting strategic transformation efforts across the organization.

- Support planning and execution of pre-study activities across multiple workstreams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements
- Translate banking business needs into technical specifications for data lake solutions
- Work closely with data engineering teams to design and validate Databricks-based pipelines and analytics workflows
- Analyse core banking processes and identify opportunities for data-driven optimization
- Support data governance, lineage, and quality initiatives across banking datasets
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder reviews, and UAT sessions
- Create process maps, data flow diagrams, and business requirement documents
- Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies related to data and banking systems
- Prepare executive-level reports and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in Data Lake platforms such as Databricks, alongside a strong understanding of core banking systems. Familiarity with data modelling, ETL pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms is also desired.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a client-facing role, with a proven track record of managing client relationships, is preferred. Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments, knowledge of banking data standards and metadata management, and strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams are also valued.
