Roles & Responsibilities

**Job description**
- Define, implement and articulate key sales strategies for the organisation at a high level
- Forecast and develop detailed strategies to achieve business sales targets and ensure profitability
- Able to connect and establish good relationships with key decision makers to develop major customers
- Leads presentations for business development and is actively involved in meetings with key business leaders
- A team leader who is able to motivate and develop a highly effective sales team
- Actively research and identify potential clients in the region and promote new solutions to them
- Promote and provide new solutions to existing customers by developing sales and marketing plans with the sales team
- Facilitate effective communication and work closely with the respective client’s Japanese head office and key people on a regular basis
- Based in Singapore with travel expected to countries in South East Asia and Japan
**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 15 years of working experience in the IT industry and at least 5 years of working experience in the regional role
- A Degree in Engineering/Business/Marketing
- Fluent in both written and spoken Japanese and a strong command of written and spoken English
- A proven track record in IT sales from Japanese clients in South East Asia
- Able to communicate effectively in Japanese to senior management and IT directors of potential clients
- Familiar with the Japanese business environment in South East Asia
- Has excellent contacts and working relationships with local system integrators in South East Asia on IT infrastructure projects
- Possess strong negotiation, problem-solving and influencing skills
- Must have a good understanding of industry market demand and customer purchasing behaviour
