Vp/svp - Interest Rates Derivatives

A leading listed financial institution is seeking an experienced fx/rates derivaties specialistto join their fast-growing FX and Rates Market team in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on developing Local Currency Rates Derivatives products, leveraging market understanding, design parameters, macro-economic drivers, and market structure.
- Lead efforts to enhance their Rates Trading operations, including Short-Term Interest Rates and Listed Fixed Income derivatives trading.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with market participants, particularly market makers and liquidity providers, to support product management.
- Work closely with clients to understand market needs, develop product positioning, and create effective marketing communication.Increase revenue and trading volume by cross-selling new products to existing clients and developing marketing pitches to attract new clients.
Position Requirements:
- Relevant experience in Rates and FX derivatives trading, with expertise in Interest Rate Swaps and listed Interest Rate Derivatives.
- Strong market and technical knowledge of Rates/FX derivatives products.
- Good understanding of APIs, back-office processes, and settlement flows.
- Minimum of a degree or equivalent level of education.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and queries effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPivot.
- Proven track record of working effectively as part of a small team.
- Experience in trading Futures is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong skills in Excel and Bloomberg.Self-motivated, able to work autonomously, and perform well under pressure.
