Description of Division:
As part of the RPG Family, the Children in Care Service (CIC) oversees the provision of out-of-home care options, such as foster care, kinship care or residential care, to vulnerable children. CIC works closely with various partners to provide a continuum of out-of-home care options, and to grow and develop essential capabilities and services to strengthen the care sector for these children and help them to grow up to become contributing members of society.

**What you will be working on**
- You will be promoting fostering and recruiting foster parents who can provide a safe home environment for children and young persons who are in out-of-home care due to abuse, neglect or abandonment.
You will work with a dynamic and energetic team to seek and recruit foster families to care for children in out-of-home care. You will lead and/or support a range of publicity efforts and partner the fostering agencies and PR agency to raise public awareness of the MSF Fostering Scheme. You will be engaging and building close partnerships with various community organisations, including those in the faith-based community, to improve publicity and outreach to the communities and recruit more foster parents. These include media engagement, community partner outreach and collaboration, roadshow organisation and staffing, collateral design and production and targeted recruitment efforts to find foster families for children in care.

**What we are looking for**
- Competencies required:

- Tertiary education in Mass Communications, Marketing or related disciplines, with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in communications, or have a strong interest in communications and public engagement work
- Experience in ministry/statutory board communications, public engagement work and data analytics would be an advantage
- Have a good knowledge of the community organisations, personalities and influencers to engage stakeholders/partners in outreach efforts
- Collaborative and works well with partners
- Self-driven, adaptable and a good team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Creative, innovative and analytical
- Writes well and persuasively
- Confident in public speaking and interacting with members of public.
