Trace Design | Build is looking for an enthusiastic Data Analytics Intern to leverage their passion for data analytics while diving into real world use cases in the real estate and construction sector. We are looking for a rockstar analyst to analyze public real estate data to identify development opportunities, as well as public and private construction data to identify areas for optimization

Do you love mining the details and want to get real world experience leveraging data to help Trace? This opportunity will allow you to translate data into actionable business practices, how to interact with stakeholders and experiencing the grind of transforming raw data from multiple sources into meaningful business and product insights

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Analyze real estate data from URA and other sources, including transaction data, site control changes data, ownership data which will require fetching from APIs, data scraping, etc.
- Analyze URA submissions data to derive average project size and timeframes, competitive revenues, and market positioning which will be based on available csv data
- Support in the analysis of BCA and industry costing data, and comparison with internal construction data (actual and projected), which includes data cleaning, data pipeline creation
- Develop dashboards or visualizations using various BI tools (e.g. Tableau) for the above projects; including developing a sustainable data pipeline for post internship

**JOB REQUIREMENT**

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in an accredited Data Analytics or equivalent program
- Minimum GPA of at least 3.2/4.0 or equivalent is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Excel, R, Python or equivalent, including data preparation and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Tableau or the equivalent
- Knowledge of Statistical analysis and modelling is an added benefit
- Applicants with prior work/intern experiences will be prioritised
- Possess the desire to engage in business-level discussions based on data insights
