**What the role is**
The Singapore Botanic Gardens (SBG) is one of the oldest and premier tropical botanical gardens. It plays an important role as a leading tropical botanical institute and holds a significant place in the history of Singapore.
You will be part of the Visitor Management & Security branch of Singapore Botanic Gardens, which is the public fronting unit that provides a safe and pleasant experience for visitors. The branch also works closely with various stakeholders, tenants, volunteers, contractors and security/visitor services personnel to ensure that the Gardens is carried out according to prescribed service standards.
**What you will be working on**
Job responsibilities include, but is not limited to:
- Carrying out of the day-to-day Visitor Services operations in the Gardens
- Planning, developing and execution of the Gardens’ branded merchandise, including liaising with partners to oversee the promotions, and inventory
- Manage tenants to ensure Gardens’ standards and guidelines are met
- Manage and attending to visitor feedback and queries received via various channels
- Handling of queries and social media related-matters
- Assisting in the coordination of visits / events
- Ensure all operational/ground issues and emergencies are attended to promptly and the carrying out of enforcement according to prevailing regulations, when required
- Perform administrative duties such as procurement, contract management, report and filings
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
**What we are looking for**
- Required to work staggered working hours, weekends and public holidays.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience
- Good written & verbal communication in English
- Resourceful and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Possess good interpersonal skills and able to work in a face paced environment
