Senior Business Analyst - Maritime Industry

Our client, a leader in the maritime sector is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team. Reporting to the finance manager,you will be responsible for reporting, identifying business risks, assess and analyze financial data and business performance and make recommendation for improvement.

Some key responsibilities for this role:

- Collate relevant data and review and analyze past and current operational and financial performance.
- Assess financial, accounting, and operational insights to identify business risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with stakeholders and make recommendation to improve cost and operational efficiencies
- You will participate in the proposal, implementing of process improvements and internal controls

To be qualified:

- You will have an accounting degree and at least 3 years of financial analysis experience, CPA/ACCA/CIMA would be an advantage
- Strong financial knowledge, analytic mind and strong costing skills will be key add on to make the role successful
- You will be a team player excellent communication and interpersonal skills and has keen interest in stakeholder partnership
- Experience in maritime, shipping industries will be an advantage.
