[What the role is]

Senior Lecturer / Innovation & Entrepreneurship

[What you will be working on]
- Team Lead / Supervise a team of academic staff in Teaching & Learning or domain areas to contribute to one or more cluster of related courses and carry out all relevant responsibilities related to teaching
- Work with Schools or Course Management team in designing, evaluating, and enhancing an aligned course curriculum
- Provide guidance and direction to junior lecturers to ensure smooth implementation of departmental initiatives
- Develop relevant teaching materials, assessment strategies and curriculum delivery for pre-employment training (PET) students, continuing education and training (CET) and Entrepreneurship Developmental Programmes (EDP)
- Establish network with industry or educational institutions to stay relevant to latest trends or changing needs and organize outreach events, marketing initiatives, and industrial projects
- Collaborate with local/overseas industry or educational institutions to plan and lead study trips, immersion trips or events etc. for students
- Mentor programme participants, students, alumni and staff for PET, CET and EDP-related matters and perform advisory role to student interest groups
- Carry out administrative duties related to teaching or non-teaching roles

[What we are looking for]
- With at least 5 years of relevant industry experience in innovation and entrepreneurship
- Possess innovative and entrepreneurial mindset with a passion to acquire up-to-date start-up knowledge and share knowledge with students
- Experience as an entrepreneur with strong industry linkages or in providing business consultancy will be an added advantage
- Demonstrate open-mindedness when teaching and the willingness to try new ideas, tolerate failure, and learn from mistakes
- Able to effectively communicate, influence, inspire, and motivate learners in a class
- Experience in starting a business or involved in a business partnership will be preferred
- Good project management skills and able to work independently
- Savvy in Technology and IT
