Senior Lecturer / Lecturer Position in Mathematical Sciences

The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) at the College of Science of NTU offer multidisciplinary academic programs that provide students with a wide-ranging and up-to-date education. We offer undergraduate training leading to BSc (Hons) and graduate training leading to MSc and PhD degrees.

The Division of Mathematical Sciences (MAS) at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), invites applications for the position of Senior Lecturer / Lecturer in Mathematical Sciences. We seek candidates with a Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related field, with demonstrated expertise in modelling and simulation. The successful applicant will play a key role in teaching and practice-oriented research, with a focus on industry engagement and interdisciplinary applications. In particular, the appointee will be expected to :

  • Teach in the Master of Science in Modelling and Simulation program and contribute to undergraduate teaching;

  • Supervise student projects and provide academic mentoring;

  • Lead or participate in applied research, consultancy, and projects that bridge mathematics with real-world applications;

  • Support and promote the MSc program through active engagement with industry partners;

  • Contribute to enhancing the quality and visibility of the MSc program, particularly through practice-based innovation and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
