We are looking for a Procurement Executive to support the management and optimization of the company’s wine and spirits inventory portfolio that serves the company’s network of retail stores, as well as wholesale/on-trade clients in the F&B and hospitality industries.

The main responsibility of this position is to work with the Head of Procurement to maximize and improve the company’s procurement activities by analyzing and forecasting sales trends, assisting to ensure procurement is executed in timely manners to avoid out-of-stock situations of core products, assisting to ensure the procurement budget is properly deployed, handling of the administrative activities required to fulfil the procurement functions, communicating with suppliers (principally wineries) in order to maintain supplier relationships, researching and sourcing new opportunities.

The procurement executive is also expected to pay close attention to slow-moving inventory, and to update senior management on slow-moving stocks.

Analysis
- Analyze monthly retail and wholesale sales figures in order to produce sales forecasts that are key to purchasing decisions.
- Continued review of the inventory portfolio in order to ensure there is sufficient stock to meet the demands of the retail and wholesale channels in Singapore and Malaysia.
- Identification and communication of slow-moving inventory.

Sourcing
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with core suppliers.
- Communicate company’s sell-through trends, impact of marketing initiatives, and local industry and market trends to suppliers.
- Undertake research to identify gaps in the market, and to source interesting and new suppliers.

Administrative
- Preparation of quotations and purchase orders.
- Update of SKUs on the company’s ERP system.
- Coordination with the finance team on payments to suppliers.
- Samples request and handling.
- Handling of requests for information from internal and external stakeholders, quotations, proposals.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across retail, wholesale, marketing, logistics, and finance team to execute company initiatives involving the procurement team.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement / Purchasing
- Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills - ability to analyze, interpret and use data for purchasing decisions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to negotiate and sustain supplier relationships
- While knowledge of wine and spirits is not necessary, a keen interest will be a plus.

**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month
