**Roles & Responsibilities**

The Assistant Manager (AM) is responsible for the overall management of an Anytime Fitness gym and is key member in our company management team. The AM oversees all aspects of the gym operations, administration matters, member engagement, social media presence and team deployment to ensure that the gym is functioning smoothly to meet the health and fitness needs of our members.

The AM is naturally a genuine ambassador of the Anytime Fitness Culture as he or she tirelessly builds the Anytime Fitness brand, values and culture among staff, all members and local community, and at the same time, strongly contribute to growing the gym business and the larger fitness industry.

Responsibilities of an Assistant Manager include, but are not limited to the following:
a. Plan and manage the deployment of all staff, permanent and part time, including cleaners and PTs in the Club to ensure that there is strong presence and attention given to members and prospects throughout any given day;

b. Maintain strong gym branding and marketing efforts, drive membership recruitment, strengthen member retention through a series of marketing, promotional and loyalty initiatives;

c. Report, manage and resolve to best efforts all major and minor incidents that happened in the gym;

d. Lead the team, create a strong culture and build a working camaraderie among the staff, taking care of the well-being of all working personnel under his or her charge;

e. Manage and supervise all aspects of the gym operations, including dealing with a range of regulatory and compliance issues;

f. Work with contractors and equipment suppliers to ensure that the gym facility and equipment are kept in tip top condition to project a positive and conducive image and to better serve our members;

g. Update social media and publicity materials related to publicity, members’ awareness, staff training as well as Standard Operating Manuals;

h. Assist to develop, adjust, adapt and enforce policies and procedures in safety, security and general gym etiquette as stipulated by Anytime Fitness Asia;

i. Conduct facility, inventory and equipment check during each shift duty and to trigger actions if something is amiss or requires further admin support;

j. Represent the gym and company in all higher AF events and meetings, if required.

k. Plan, organise, prepare and execute major events or programmes supporting the gym’s promotional and outreach efforts;

l. Maintain a strong security regime in the gym and make regular checks on key fob entries, tailgating, wee hours in unmanned situations, illegal trespassers etc;

m. Oversee all gym trials and body mass measurement conducted in the gym, during the on-duty shift hours, and followed personally or through the Brand Ambassador, to conduct the sales pitch and close the membership sales;

The AM is expected to understand and possess the ability to operate all computer systems involving security, members’ hub and AF dashboard, website and social media platforms of the club. He is also required to attend all training programs assigned by the company, in particular the AF Learn modules and development related events;

n. Oversee and enforce risk management practices including all COVID related safe gym measures for the Club:

- Ensure all members and persons entering the gym are managed in accordance with the Government stipulated vaccination regime and required safe management measures;
- Ensure that group size for indoor high-intensity mask-off or mask-on exercise activities are kept to Government imposed numbers to no more than X persons, or in groups of Y persons if all in the class are fully vaccinated, or a recovered patient, or have a valid COVID-19 test result covering the duration of the class;
- COVID testing regime for all working personnel to be supervised and enforced in accordance with the applicable regime;
- COVID alert, response and recovery protocols are to be fully understood, executed with higher guidance in dealing with active C+ cases detected among members and/or staff.

Commisson and club performance bonus will be paid.
