If you are a Sales Professional in Industrial Software looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you You will be responsible on maximizing and increasing the value delivered by software solutions into LifeSciences Industry by leading sales of software portfolio and implementation services for such products comprising of Reliability, Analytical and Supply Chain Management solutions.

You will work with cross-functional teams to formulate client strategies, manage clients and bring to closure strategic client opportunities.

**Responsibilities**:
**AS A Sales Manager - INDUSTRIAL SOFTWARE YOU WILL**:

- Grows Software License, Subscription and Services Orders for Software Solutions in LifeSciences across different segments,
- Articulates solution business value to customers and leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs whilst coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel including support, service, and management resources in order to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.
- Demonstrate understanding of the customer's business priorities and initiatives. Discuss relevant trends and priorities integrating industry knowledge and solution knowledge.
- Builds Trusted Advisor Relationships
- Establishes relationships with C-Level Business, Digital & IT executive sponsors on assigned accounts; participate in development of Plantweb Optics based Software solutions to improve client’s business operating metrics and represent Emerson in their QBR’s by bringing in value of counsel and expertise, value of solutions and value of implementation expertise.
- Builds a foundation on which to harvest future business opportunities and accurate account information and coaching.
- Sales & Opportunity Management:

- Sets the direction for strong growth and set stretch goals/targets which are in line with divisional objectives for Software solutions primarily in Reliability, Analytics and Supply chain management software solutions.
- Maintains accurate booking forecast data in conjunction with all stakeholders.
- Monthly report out of pursuits and actions.
- Maintain a summary of current status on key pursuits.
- Work with sales management to ensure bookings happen per the forecast.
- Support and drive development of sales platform tools for front line sales, account teams and develop sales champion community.
- Ensure Asia Pacific has the required support and messaging to deliver the full sales cycle from Qualification through to demonstration and Proposal.
- Support Emerson Life Science Management to set pricing strategies by preparing and presenting competitor intelligence and market pricing intelligence.
- Where required, deliver full sales support to sales team including opportunity qualification with customers, definition of sales strategy, delivery of SME specific presentations, initiation and delivery of proposals in collaboration with the proposal team and close out of the opportunity
- Participate and representing Emerson at various trade shows / events / conferences in various life sciences forums across Asia Pacific to establish Emerson Thought Leadership in domain and new potential markets.
- Lead and develop Digital Media campaigns in Digital Marketing and rolling out various initiatives

**Job Requirements**:
Required Education, Experience & Skills:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering disciplines, or Business-related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in software platform sales or business development with experience in leading enterprise engagements.
- Proven ability to engage C-level contacts for the purposes of solution selling, establishing peer relationships, articulating strategic vision and closing deals with client’s business and IT leaders.
