We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A diverse team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.

**The role: Regional Operations, Trust and Safety, Google Play - Singapore**

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. **Additional Role Description**:
Our mission is to drive trust in Google’s products and brand by building the safest, compliant, and most trusted Android, Google Play, Chrome Web store, and Health Platforms experiences. We protect the Google Play and Android ecosystem by fighting spam, fraud and abuse, and protecting user privacy. We provide business-critical policy enforcement and partner support to facilitate, review, and manage the digital content catalog of Google Play, ensuring policy compliance for developers, advertisers, publishers, and users.

The Regional Operations team within the Trust and Safety Compute, aims to build trust and minimize friction with trusted developers, while also mitigating ecosystem risks. We do this through speedy resolution of developer issues, proactive education, identifying sensitive risk areas, and incorporating local context into policy decisions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Serve as a regional point of contact (POC) in South East Asia to solicit stakeholder feedback for Google Play Policies and Operations. Lead the resolutions of various policy related issues for Trust and Safety, Google Play, and Android Operations.
- Lead Trust and Safety and Google Play-wide policy launches and initiatives in the region to ensure a safe app experience. Drive highly cross-functional projects collaborating with the global team.
- Manage P0 incidents and drive operational improvement to mitigate the future risks, working with Google Play BD, Policy, Operations, Engineering, and Product leadership.
- Build and strategize systems and operational workflows to meet the demands of Google Play developers and users.
- Provide online/offline policy education for internal and external executives.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience working in a project/program management or operations environment.
- Ability to speak and write in English and either,

Bahasa Indonesian or Vietnamese fluently in order to communicate with external partners and developers.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience in data analysis, complex problem solving, scaled operations, and efficient execution.
- Knowledge of content moderation, DevOps, policy enforcement, customer support, and/or policy creation.
- Ability to solve large unstructured business problems, working closely with cross-functional teams including Sales/Business Development (BD), Engineering, Product, Legal, and Public Relation (PR).
- Ability to communicate complex policy concepts for technical products.
- Excellent consultation, communication, and presentation skills.
