Job Responsibilities:

- Execute and oversee commodity trades, adjusting strategies based on market trends and performance.
- Identify and mitigate risks (market, credit, operational) and develop risk management frameworks to protect the trading portfolio.
- Collaborate with the derivatives trading team to manage structured trade risks.
- Conduct thorough analysis of supply and demand factors affecting commodity prices and stay updated on global market trends and economic indicators.
- Formulate and execute trading strategies that align with market opportunities and organizational goals.
- Build relationships with key trade partners and work with operations teams for seamless physical settlement of commodities.
- Facilitate negotiations for larger trades and address contract disputes with trade partners.
- Review trade performance against KPIs and prepare reports on portfolio status and risk exposure for management.
- Propose and manage the departmental budget, ensuring it aligns with trading activities and risk management.Monitor P&L for trading portfolios and implement corrective measures as necessary.

Requirements：
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commodities trading.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
- Proven track record in executing successful trading strategies.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurial and extremely driven
- Able to start work immediately/on short notice.
- Fluent in English and proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
