1) To liaise with the Sales and Marketing Staff to understand customer requirements.

2) To be involved and support on the fender commissioning and installation works by customers or contractors when necessary.

3) To carry out inspection of works by suppliers and ensure all QA/QC are fulfilled according to contract requirements.

4) Development of the existing and prospective suppliers to ensure the securing of profitable business opportunities.

5) Provision of sound technical advice on Marine Systems products to internal suppliers and external customers.

6) Negotiation and review of orders and contracts within company guidelines.

7) Keep informed of product and market developments & trends.

8) Ensure the safe, timely and efficient design, and manufacture, supply &/or delivery of products to meet customer requirements.

9) Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and profitable completion of projects/orders to meet contractual requirements

10) Monitor Project financial performance on an ongoing basis

11) Develop and maintain accurate and detailed project files for Company products and services.

12) Monitor and report actual project costs versus estimates and update as required.

13) Monitor the performance of project suppliers and ensure quality, timeliness and pricing meet Company requirements.

14) Procure order/project components and monitor suppliers through an efficient RFQ process

15) To work closely with the Sales Office Manager and engineering design team to understand customer requirements, and to promote Trelleborg Marine Systems business.

16) Carry out marketing programs to existing and prospective customers to inform of current and new products and services Development and Sales of engineered solutions to meet the customer & industry specific needs.

17) Provision of sound technical advice on Marine Systems products to internal and external customers.

18) Keep informed of product and market developments & trends.

19) Ensure the safe, timely and technically acceptable provision of proposals.

20) Report key issues applicable to the Marine Systems business to the Sales Office Manager / Regional Director.

21) Assist and keep other business units of Trelleborg informed of prospective opportunities that may be relevant to them.

22) Joint visit with sales agents to the consultants, owners and contractors in specific territories.

23) Review of customer Request for Quotations, and development of technical proposals.

24) Conducting presentations to Engineers and Customers.

25) Travel nationally on a regular basis and internationally
