**Analytical Science Intern (Flavours)**
- The Analytical Science department is responsible for identification on what compounds are present in food products/ Flavours.
- In this internship, you will be facilitating experimental trials and be exposed to different experiments. On Job -Training will be provided to operation GC-MS, and all equipment in laboratory. Besides, you will be involved in sample preparation for using our in-house Digital Tools and explore the world of unlimited creation using the tools.
- Reporting to: Research Scientist
- Working location: 1 Woodlands Avenue 8
- Prepare sample extraction of various types of market products, naturals, chemical ingredients for projects.
- Support seniors in research projects, making experimental observations and helping to make connections to the experimental objectives.
- Support Digital Tools preparation.
- Support the lab management activities to ensure efficient lab operations.
- Handle equipment to prepare samples or measurements as needed.
- Ensure good housekeeping and Safety Act.

**Internship Mini Project**:

- You will be tasked with a mini project aimed at developing and enhancing your analytical skills, which will be beneficial for your future career.
- Intern will learn hands on lab skills on extraction, GCMS instrumental operation & software analysis of report.

**Functional Skills & Competencies**:

- Passion working in laboratory environment
- Abilities to handle beef, pork and alcohol derive food products & flavors
- Basic Food Science knowledge or strong in Math & Science background is a plus
- Open and flexible, ready to adapt and learn new skills
- Knowledge of GCMS, UHPLC is a plus
