- Job Responsibilities:

- Perform cleaning and housekeeping
- Maintain personal hygiene in food industry
- Carry out process and food products / materials / ingredients monitoring using established procedures
- Check or measure control points
- Monitoring parameters to comply with legislative and organization requirements (e.g. cooking temperature, storage temperature, thickness of packaging materials, temperature of sealing bar of packaging equipment, etc)
- Performing laboratory tests
- Carry out hygiene checks / audits
- Perform proper waste management (Food, Chemicals, etc)
- Comply with workplace safety and health requirements
- Operate laboratory / processing / packaging equipment in accordance with established procedures (which could include calibration)
- Carry out corrective and preventive actions (e.g. inform supervisor when non-conformance is found)
- Interpret relevant workplace documents
- Work instructions
- Rick assessment forms
- Safety data sheets
- Company safety policies
- Maintain professionalism and good work ethics
- Carry out logging and documentation of findings, observation, data, inventory level, etc
- At the end of the industrial attachment, interns will be able to:

- Familiarize with Food Safety (HACCP)
- Acquire knowledge on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Acquire knowledge on Lean and Quality Programs (5S, White Belt, Engrained Quality (Right First Time)
