
Sales Specialist

**Position Overview**: Based in Singapore, the Sales Specialist will lead our operations in India, playing a critical role in driving business growth and ensuring the successful execution of our strategic initiatives within the region. This role will oversee all aspects of our business in India, with a specific focus on retail operations, and will frequently travel to India for business development, market expansion, and store visits.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Business Development:
- Develop and implement business strategies to increase the company’s market share and profitability in India.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand our presence in the region, particularly within the retail sector.
- Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners in India.
- Represent the company at high-level meetings and events in India and Singapore.
- Marketing and Sales:
- Develop and execute marketing and sales plans to increase brand visibility and revenue in the Indian market.
- Oversee the performance of marketing campaigns and sales activities, adapting strategies to local market preferences and consumer behavior.
- Retail Operations:
- Manage and optimize retail operations, including inventory management, pricing strategies, and in-store promotions.
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure brand standards are met, customer service is exceptional, and sales targets are achieved.
- Operational Excellence:
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and maintain high service standards in India.
- Implement and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and comply with local regulations.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all business activities comply with Indian laws and company policies.
- Manage risks and ensure the company's reputation is upheld in the Indian market.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of management experience, with a proven track record in a leadership role, preferably in retail.
- Strong business acumen and strategic planning skills, particularly in the Indian retail market.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English is required, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in local business languages.
- Experience in a multi-cultural work environment, with a deep understanding of Indian business practices and cultural nuances.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
**Work Environment**:
- This role is based in Singapore with regular travel to various locations within India.
Pay: $4,000.00 - $6,500.00 per month
