Singapore COMFORTDELGRO INSURANCE BROKERS PTE. LTD. Full time

ComfortDelGro Insurance Brokers Pte Ltd has a position for the post of Compliance Officer.

**Responsibilities and Tasks**:
1. Ensure compliance with the Singapore legal and regulatory requirements

2. Advise on the relevant MAS regulations and implications on company policies including outsourcing, technology risk management, cyber security and business continuity management.

3. Ensure all new client relationships are verified and onboarded with the appropriate document review, client identification screening and risk assessment.

4. Conduct ongoing monitoring, due diligence and reviews of existing customer relationships.

5. Liaise with supervisory authority on regulatory compliance and filings.

6. Enhance and implement policies, systems, and processes in relation to the governance, use and analysis of personal data.

7. Oversee the regulatory function, monitor and manage the company's compliance with regulatory requirements under the applicable laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures.

8. Enhance and manage policies, systems and processes to counter the risks of the company's involvement in money laundering, AML/terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, bribery, corruption and filing of Suspicious Transactions Reports (STRs).

9. Conduct training, localise and implement the company's internal corporate policies, governance programmes and relevant initiatives.

10. Perform periodic compliance reviews.

11. Quarterly risk and compliance reporting to CEO.

12. Keep abreast of compliance and regulatory requirements, trends and best practices relevant to the company. Provide advice and support implementation of changes as required.

13. Oversee the company's risk register and risk assessment as well as assist on all ERM matters.

14. Proactive in finding solutions to business and operational issues.

15. Proficient in technology to ensure compliance operations are efficient.

**Requirements**:
1. Minimum of 5+ years of compliance experience, preferably within an international insurance broker, dealing in General Insurance and Employee Benefits classes of insurance.

2. Prior working experience in compliance for an insurance broker or general insurer. Legal education and experience would be an advantage.

3. Law degree or relevant degree level qualification.

4. Solid understanding of the financial industry, ideally in General nd Employee Benefits business and familiar with risk management practices.

5. Ability to work both independently and self-motivated.

6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

7. IT affinity, analytical, structured and service-oriented personality.

8. Attention to detail, excellent work organization, proactive attitude.

9. Reliable, trustworthy and discreet personality.

10. Will report directly to the CEO.
