**Role**

An experienced internal communications leader, collaborator and storyteller ready to lead Employee Communications for Splunk's APAC region.

Based in APAC and reporting to Splunk's Director, Global Employee Communications, this role is regional in scope and ideal for a leader that thrives in a high-growth, fast-moving and highly collaborative environment and is committed to delivering exceptional and creative communications. Splunk's **Senior APAC Employee Communications Manager **is a hands-on, high-profile, global role that will partner with people across the company and specifically in the APAC region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Excite, engage and align Splunk's APAC employee community around the company's strategic objectives, story, values and mission.
- Develop and deliver cutting-edge, scalable communications that improve productivity, drive conversation, connectedness and innovation across Splunk's APAC employee community.
- Acti vely partner with the global employee communications team to ensure alignment of internal messaging, timing and editorial strategies.
- Provide dedicated internal communications partnership to the head of our APAC region and partner with PR and Social teams on that executive's comms.
- Partner with the APAC Core leadership Team as appropriate.
- Manage reputation and issues-based communications programs (i.e. crisis) - working closely with the APAC HR and APAC Legal teams.
- Evolve existing and create new communication channels to ensure an optimal mix of top-down, sideways and bottoms-up communication is taking place.
- Build a sense of connectedness between managers and employees through communication initiatives that inspire and support managers to become better leaders.
- Balance planned communications with unplanned and urgent business needs.
- Drive overall APAC employee communications in alignment with Splunk's other corporate and APAC communications leaders.
- Recruit and manage additional resources as Splunk scales.

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience leading an employee communications function at a mid to large company.
- Ability to interact effectively and influence all levels of leadership, including compan y and regional executive teams.
- Experience working across different countries/languages/cultures.
- Data-driven and results-oriented in managing and scaling global communications programs, processes and protocols.
- Experience in high-growth environments and understanding of how to scale great company cultures and manage organizational change efforts.
- Creative with exceptional writing and verbal communication. Must be a role model for internal stakeholders and staff.
- 15+ years of experience managing communication programs and teams.
- Bachelor's degree in related fields. Graduate degree and technology experience welcome.
- Ready to be part of the team that will tell this decade's most exciting and compelling technology stories.
