Your new role

As an IT Demand Manager, you will be part of defining business processes, scenarios and solution requirements specifically for contract logistics business.

As an expert in these fields, you will deliver solution proposals for both potential and current customers. By determining how IT solutions can be leveraged optimally, you will drive the development and definition of IT strategies as well as continuous process improvements.

Acting as an important link between the IT, operational and business development teams you will play a key role in representing IT in customer engagements, managing expectations and defining demands such as quality, scope and effort/cost estimation.

Key responsibilities includes:

- Supports the Senior IT Demand Manager, works in close collaboration with the respective team in business and Demand Country leads.
- E-2-E responsible for demands handed over to ITCL regional team including pre-sales activities.
- Engage with clients to provide the solutions and capability from an IT perspective after a request for quotation (RFQ) or tender as well as future IT demands.
- Assessment of business needs and enhances initial demand descriptions by adding information (e.g. non-functional requirements, project requests, business cases, etc.) based on standard and model approaches.
- Takes business needs and requirements, refines and transforms into viable specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure organisational and procedural standardisation in the area of responsibility, aligned with the company's overall process frameworks.
- Define demand refinement and solution design; steer, manage and oversee the whole process chain from demand to service delivery along the solution strategy.

What you'll need to succeed
- Possesses a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in IT, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related
- Minimum of 3 years' working experience as an IT Demand Manager or related
- Proven working experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) as well as project and process management tools.
- Proven track record in managing all aspects of IT demand activities, concerning project request management, evaluation of demands, overarching demand synchronisation to monitoring of approved demand implementations.
- Deep understanding of complex business processes and project management experience, ideally from a contract logistics company or a supply chain driven sector
- Experience in managing and influencing customer engagements and interfaces with a high attention of detail and business awareness.
