Rapidly growing, Valrhona, a subsidiary of Savencia Saveurs & Spécialités, an international agri-food group, manufacturer and distributor of exceptional chocolates and leader in this sector, offers products and services adapted to a clientele of craftsmen, high-end restaurateurs as well as only for gourmets. Particularly effective in innovation, image, product quality, commercial development and industrial facilities, Valrhona generates 50% of its business internationally, serving 15,000 customers on 5 continents.
The organization aims to provide the “essential premium pastry ingredients to Food Service Professionals (pastry chefs, bakers, restaurants, hotels and caterers) throughout the world”, but also to consolidate our market share across categories and markets.
Located in Tain l’Hermitage, in the heart of the Rhône valley in France, we have been in Tain l’Hermitage ever since Alberic Guironnet first founded La Chocolaterie du Vivarais in 1922; Guironnet’s original chocolate factory is still in use, this is where we make pralinés, bonbons and our white chocolate. We now also have a second, larger factory on the edge of Tain l’Hermitage. This is where we make our dark and milk chocolate couvertures.

**About FSP - Food Service Premium**
Food Service Premium is the mother organization under which Valrhona has regrouped itself along with its recent acquisitions. The organization aims to provide the “essential premium pastry ingredients to Food Service Professionals (pastry chefs, bakers, restaurants, hotels and caterers) throughout the world”, but also to consolidate our market share across categories and markets. The FSP Brands are Valrhona, Republica Del Cacao, Weiss, Sosa (Professional Ingredients such as Texturizers, Dried fruits, crispies, etc ), Chocolatree (Decors), Norohy (Vanilla), Adamance (Fruits puree) and Pariani.
**THE POSITION**
The Digital Manager APAC role is to define, design and execute the Digital strategy all over Asia Pacific (focus HK, SG, SEA, Oceania,) through our different digital platforms (Instagram, Website, etc ).
His / Her main missions will be:
**Reporting to Brand Manager Valrhona Selection APAC**:
- Work with Marketing team to refine social media strategy and best practices.
- Design, Define and implement the communication calendar
- Manage social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, etc ) and editorial calendar to ensure contents pushed in a timely, relevant, and engaging manner according to both local & regional guideline.
- Develop regional & local content (video, photo shooting,..) to increase brand awareness
- Platform management (i.e. posting contents, IG stories, hashtags, captions, comments/replies, engaging with followers, identifying potential prospects) responding to customer comments and messages.
- Assist in following up and collaborate with agencies (i.e. design/marketing/translation agency).
- Assist with digital contents/marketing collateral copywriting, proofing, translating and updating as needed.
- Collection of data/info/contents related to various campaigns/projects
- Track the customer trends online
- Market visits whenever necessary
- Recording photo/video during demos/other events whenever applicable.
- Identify trend leaders and influencers/KOL (internal/external) and engage them in brand activities while keeping strong relation with them
- Prepare the yearly marketing (digital part) budget with the brand manager
- Provide content for our partners (distributors) to ensure the digital visibility of the brands
- Update the website with content provided by HQ as well as local/regional content
**Ideal Qualification**
- Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant experience in Social & Digital Marketing in APAC for Food or FMCG industries
- Fluent in English
- Detail-oriented, efficient multitasker; ability to meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in social media/ digital marketing
- Experience in photo/video production, design is preferred
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Adobe design / photoshop experience is a plus
