About the Role
Ankura’s Global Construction professionals are recognised as leading experts in providing construction dispute resolution and advisory services for some of the world’s largest and most complex construction projects.
We are seeking a Delay Analyst to join our Construction Disputes & Advisory practice in Singapore. You will support and work alongside some of the most highly regarded delay experts in analysing and providing solutions on complex issues arising out of construction disputes in domestic and international arbitrations and litigations, as well as on live projects.
You will have opportunities to work on projects across a wide range of industry sectors globally, including oil and gas, building, process plants, power generation, civil infrastructure, and marine projects.
**Responsibilities**:
You will:
- Assist in detailed forensic analyses of project data and schedules to determine causes and extent of project delays and productivity lossAssist in writing and preparation of expert reports in domestic and international arbitrations and litigations, explaining delay analyses performed and results of the analyses Work with a team to provide advice and strategic solutions to clients on complex challenges faced on construction projects, and assist in preparation of reports for extension of time, loss and expense, disruption and prolongation claims.
**Requirements**:
- A good bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or science from a recognised university
- Outstanding and effective writing skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, reasoning and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to plan and manage own work tasks to meet strict deadlines
- Background in construction or shipbuilding industry is preferred, but fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
