Our construction dispute resolution professionals provide expert advice and independent professional opinion on some of the world’s largest, most complex, and high-profile capital project disputes. Courts, corporations, and tribunals rely on us to get to the nub of the issue in any given dispute. We develop efficient and robust delay analyses and present our conclusions in a clear, concise, and objective manner to enable the resolution of complex disputes.

You will have the opportunity to work with highly reputable, specialist expert witnesses, recognised by Who’s Who Legal (Lexology). You will be part of a talented team of experts working on some of the world’s most interesting and significant project disputes.

We’re looking for bright and ambitious individuals to join our Singapore-based delay team. As a Senior Associate, you will assist in the preparation of pre-dispute advice, litigation support and expert witness testimony, claims assessment and schedule analysis. You will be able to perform data research, management, and analysis. You will support the appointed expert in preparing and presenting results to our clients and tribunals. You will be prepared to spend short stints abroad based on the location of our international clients.

Your strong academic track record is a given, you will be working towards or have recently achieved chartered status and have significant practical experience. Experience performing analysis on dispute related assignments would be considered an advantage but is not essential, as would a post-graduate degree in a construction law or management discipline.

About the Role

**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in detailed forensic analysis of project data and schedules to determine the cause and extent of project delays and productivity loss.- Assist experts with writing and the preparation of expert reports for domestic and international arbitration and litigation, explaining the delay analysis performed and the results of the analyses.- Be part of a project team to provide advice and strategic solutions to clients on complex challenges faced in construction projects and assist in the preparation of reports for extension of time, loss and expense, disruption, and prolongation claims.

**Requirements**:
- BSc in engineering, science or similar from a leading university- Come from an engineering, quantity surveying, construction/major projects or shipbuilding background.- Proficient in using Primavera, Microsoft Project and / or Powerproject is desirable together with solid Microsoft office skills.- Demonstrable knowledge of various planning principles and methods of delay analysis- Proficiency in the use of planning tools, including Primavera P6 and MS Project- A solid understanding of construction processes, management, and planning- Outstanding and effective writing skills- Experience in writing and preparing claim and/or expert reports for construction disputes.- Ability to prioritise and manage work tasks to meet strict deadlines.- A post graduate qualification in construction law (or similar) is desirable.- Fluent in English and one other language would be beneficial.- Travel flexible both national and international.- Excellent oral and verbal communications skills- Have solid analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills,- Have well developed communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.- Be highly motivated, self-starting, curious and have a hunger to learn and develop yourself.-
