As our **Purchasing & Shipping Executive**, you will play a critical role in ensuring supply continuity and logístical readiness for our global operations. This role is built for someone who thrives at the intersection of tactical execution and strategic procurement — someone who sees procurement not just as a back-end function but as a key enabler of business performance. You will drive cost efficiencies, ensure supplier compliance, mitigate sourcing risks, and orchestrate the smooth movement of goods worldwide.

**Responsibilities**

**Procurement Operations (80%)**
- Order Execution: Place POs, track deliveries, and ensure on-time material availability for production/projects.
- Cost Optimization: Negotiate pricing, volume discounts, and long-term agreements to reduce BOM costs.
- Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with warehouse teams to balance stock levels, avoiding excess or shortages (especially for long-lead-time items)
- Quality Team: Resolve IQC (Incoming Quality Control) issues and drive supplier corrective actions (e.g., for Mechanical Parts defects).
- Trend Analysis: Monitor market fluctuations (e.g., IC chip lead times, commodity pricing) and assess supply risks.
- Contracts: Manage supplier agreements, NDAs, and compliance with regulations (e.g., RoHS, REACH, export controls).
- Systems: Maintain accurate records in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) and generate procurement reports.

**Shipping Role (20%)**
- Optimize shipping modes (consolidation, expedited vs. economy) to balance cost/speed.
- Process sales/production orders and coordinate the shipment of finished.
- Goods Arrange packaging, loading, and transportation (air/ocean/LTL) based on customer requirements.
- Prepare export documents: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (B/L), and certificates (RoHS, FCC, UN38.3 for batteries).
- Resolve delays, damages, or customs holds with carriers/forwarders (If there is any).

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of procurement and logistics experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or physical product environment.
- Hands-on experience working with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of cost savings and supplier development.
- Meticulous, organized, and able to manage competing timelines effectively.
- Knowledge of international shipping and export documentation requirements.
- A strong communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally with External Vendors, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Finance teams.
- Curious, data-driven, and calm under pressure.
