**About the Company**

Our Client is a leader in geospatial technologies, serving customers across industries from commercial to government sectors.

**Responsibilities**:
We’re looking for an innovative, solutions-driven **Senior System Specialist (GIS) **to be part of a team that delivers mission-critical, high-availability solutions to solve clients’ real-world challenges.
- Integrate and implement new technologies and solutions into the system architecture;
- Ensure that systems and processes are aligned with standards and best practices, including performance and security standards;
- Advise cross-functional team members on system optimisation;
- Understand stakeholders’ requirements and build strong working relationships;
- Provide assistance and system-related expert knowledge for data analytics or technical issues;
- Support pre-sales teams from a systems perspective as required;
- Work closely in cross-functional teams for the successful deployment of solutions for clients.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering or a relevant discipline;
- Experience in automation and DevOps would be an advantage;
- Experience in capacity planning, performance tuning would be an advantage;
- Exposure to cloud deployment would be an advantage;
- Proficiency in programming languages, frameworks and relational databases;
- Inquisitive and enthusiastic mindset towards problem-solving;
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Ability to work well in a diverse, cross-functional team.
