**Job Title: Cafe Manager**

The Cafe Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the cafe, ensuring smooth functioning, exceptional customer service, and profitability. This role involves managing staff, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a positive working environment.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Staff Management**: Recruit, train, and supervise cafe staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen personnel. Schedule shifts, assign duties, and provide ongoing guidance and support.

2. **Customer Service**: Ensure that customers receive excellent service at all times. Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.

3. **Inventory Management**: Oversee inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure freshness. Monitor food and beverage costs to optimize profitability.

4. **Menu Development**: Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update the cafe menu, considering customer preferences, seasonal availability, and cost-effectiveness. Introduce new items and promotions to attract and retain customers.

5. **Quality Control**: Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency. Conduct regular inspections of food preparation areas, equipment, and service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

6. **Financial Management**: Develop and manage the cafe budget, including revenue targets, expenses, and profit margins. Analyze financial reports, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving measures where possible.

8. **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements to maintain operational compliance.

9. **Stakeholder Relations**: Build positive relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to negotiate favorable terms and maintain smooth business operations.

10. **Performance Evaluation**: Conduct regular performance evaluations for cafe staff, providing constructive feedback and recognizing achievements. Implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

**Requirements**:
1. **Previous Experience**: Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting.

2. **Leadership Skills**: Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

3. **Customer Focus**: A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.

4. **Financial Acumen**: Solid understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.

5. **Organizational Skills**: Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.

6. **Problem-Solving Ability**: A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, with the ability to handle challenges calmly and efficiently.

7. **Food Safety Knowledge**: Thorough understanding of food safety standards and regulations, with a commitment to upholding hygiene and sanitation practices.

9. **Flexibility**: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the demands of the business.

10. **Education**: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
